I studied Theatre, stage and costume design at Nottingham Trent University, initially foreseeing a career focusing on drama and musical theatre but my career took a different turn when I met and began working with Opera director Graham Vick. Up until his untimely death in 2021 we collaborated on 13 original productions around the world, with me as set and costume designer for each.
 
In 2015 I met fashion designer Anya Hindmarch and together, with me as stage designer and model choreographer, we created 7 genre-defying fashion spectaculars, each with a carefully crafted narrative; from a mundane supermarket visit that slides into a Hollywood musical of the 1940’s, to the story of a girl who takes a journey over the mountain and gets lost in the mist and mythology of the cold, Scandanavian north. We asked, ‘Do computers dream when they sleep?’ and we followed an all-woman space crew as they prepared for blast-off. 
 
I have also worked as stage designer and model choreographer on fashion shows for; Ralph & Russo, Alice Temperley, Mulberry and TOPSHOP and as design director on commercial activities for a wide variety of luxury and lifestyle brands. I have also enjoyed creating a number of immersive, touring exhibitions for Disney Pictures.
 
The common thread through all of these diverse and parallel experiences is an enduring passion for storytelling.
